After the visual carnage of Nha Trang we needed some down time so headed south to Mui Ne. Mui Ne is a tourist destination but offered some pre- Christmas beach relaxation, a tan and a chance to catch up with people back at home. Transport was an early morning coach trip with a quick refreshment stop half way after 3 hours. Mui Ne is very popular with Russians: pretty much every sign was in Russian with Vietnamese underneath, lots of hard haggling in the shops and dodgy haircuts.
This was the only photo I took in the five days.
We got up late, drifted down to the beach, got battered by waves, drank 333 beer, read, swam, meandered up to the guest house restaurant and ate plates after plate of shrimps and squid, every day for five days.
